Gran Ventana Beach Resort Puerto Plata

The hotel looks very nice in the brochure. Our travel agent also told us she had a couple booking this hotel for years. So we took the chance.
The hotel was as the pictures, very nice and clean. Only diadvantage was that it was right below the flight route, meaning planes ate least 2 times an hour flying low.
The rooms were like the pictures as well, 2 queen size beds, bath, mini bar (that was included! so it was filled every day with small bottles of Coke, Fanta, Water and beer).
The food wasn't that great, many of the same. Breakfast was okay....
The animation team was very annoying, didn't take no for an answer; the night shows were lousy and the lack of spirit in them was making me crinch.
The hotel lies on a resort park, with several other hotels, a little mall and some restaurants: very nice for a walk outside the hotel.
What bother me that we arrived there with some guests, that came there at least twice a year and they were getting all egards, fresh juice, late check out etc, fast check inn etc, but we were barely looked at.
