We took a day trip to see the highlights of the Gran Sabana. The weather was crap and rained most of the day (I guess thats why they call it The Rainy Season) but Simon still had a few swims (too cold for me). We stopped at lots of waterfalls and swimming holes and generally took a lot of photos.

I have always wanted to see Angel Falls. Finally I got around to it the during my 2nd trip to Venezuela and Colombia. I have also visited the Gran Sabana, Ciudad Bolivar, Cartagena and Tovar during this trip. Table top mountains, tropical city scene, beautiful beaches and Spanish forts, and even a German colony in the hills, this trip had it all
