Grafton on Sunset Hotel West Hollywood

We made a quick decision to stay in the Grafton based on it having a pool and wanting to spend the last weekend of our hol getting some rest, but when we got to the Grafton we were dissapointed. Having stopped in the Hotel Le Petit the weekend earlier for less money, I was actually quiet upset and what we got, the rooms are nicely decorated but small, the bathroom didnt even have room for all the toiletries. But anyway, you dont spend all your time in the room, the real low point was the next day, no sun round the pool to be told it wouldnt be there until around 2ish. Excellent location, so if you there just to sleep then I suppose its pretty rock n roll, but I wouldnt say luxury and it was too expensive to be boutique. The hotel staff were helpfull enough, and didnt have a problem with us checking out early. Other downpoint was the parking, not only did you have to pay $25 pn, you also could not park it yourself so you needed to wait for someone to collect and then tip everytime.

Easily the worst hotel I've been to in 15 years. I called ahead to notify the front desk I would be arriving late and to hold my reservation...when I arrived they had given my room away and shipped me off to another terrible hotel called LeParc.

If you're looking for something right in the middle of all the action of sunset blvd, I highly recommend this hotel. They have a bar, great restaurant, clean trendy decor rooms, and the staff is very professional. read entire review at TravelPost.com

The Grafton on Sunset is like ordering low-cal frozen yogurt when what you really want is double-fudge Hagen-Daaz. It tries to be hipper than hip like its uber-cool neighbor, the Mondrian, but it just tries too hard without success.
