Great sushi, great staff, great atmosphere Aug 24, 2009
Grace's Mandarin is a modern Japanese fusion restaurant that serves great sushi. It is built in the new National Harbor 10 minutes outside of DC off 295.

It has a 2-floor tall Buddha, a variety of seating areas, and great staff-especially one great waiter who served our party of 7. He was very charming and me and my friends would go back just to be served by him again...wink, wink!

The food is excellently presented, which makes it a bit pricey, but the drinks are well made and it's one of the few places I cana go to that serves port wine in the DC area.

Be wary that parking in the National Harbor is $11 (flat rate) after 6pm and Grace's Mandarin has a posted dress code for men after 7pm. But once you're done, you can walk a block and a half to Cadillac Ranch and pay $3 to see how long you can ride a mechanical bull before you fall off.
