Secure, true 4 star (by American Ratings) Clean Bathtub for an Affordable price (with no typical Thai ripoff add ons) Feb 06, 2008
The price is 1400-1800Bht. I got a 1400 bt Room and it was EXCELLENT compared to some of the other hotels I visited. Sure about $40 US a night but with a CLEAN bathrib, internet downstairs, restaurants, two discos and two cafe's inside this huge facility, it was my home!
There is a large Arabic contingent staying there and a large Uzbekistan women contingent looking after them. The great thing is there aren't 1000 Thais chasing you around for business in this section. It's pleasent, quite and extremely clean. Two security points so nothing will happen to you. They also have double key lock box safes so you can keep your wad of cash behind the hotel desk (I saw some sheikh's with foot wide wads of cash they were drawing from out of their safe boxes)! If you like Arabic, Mid Eastern food (shish kebabs, etc) there are a good number of outside and inside restaurants in the street behind (as well as good Thai food). Massage places are nearby for only a couple dollars. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. Part of the THAILAND FEB 2008, NOW I HAVE TO GO BACK! travel blog |

Three Graceful days in Grace Hotel Jan 18, 2009
One of my friends visited Thailad ,adn stayed at Grace Hotel, Which is located ina very central location in Bangkok. Location is perfect if you are visting thailand for night life entertainment. The hotel is located on the northern side of the Famous Soi Nana (Nanaa Street)in Sukumvit. Nana plaza is a three storey building full of dance bars and other types of night life, which bangkok is famous for, and lot of lady boys to entertain toursits. The skumvit area is the center of bussness activities in Bangkok, where you can find all sorts of bussness starting from large shopping malls to very small bussiness, selling almost evrything at the street.
Amazingly the Grace hotel area is the Arab district of Bangkok, and lot of Arabs vsitng bangkok stays in Grace Hotel. arab Persian, Lebanes Yamen restaurents and south asian restaurents are plenty here. Also famous arab food such as Shawarma and sheeshaa are all nearby. Information needed for arab travellers and mostly Asian travellers are provided by the travel agencies and also cargo handling agents and other necssary shops are located here. This probably is the home away from home for arabs, could find everything one can imagine. Sometimes its more than home away from home, because here you can do things that are not allowed in Arab countries. Also can enjoy compnay of girls from various countries of the world. |

Being new to the TB site, I decided to meet someone I met on TB. We agreed on a spot and I assumed I’d be meeting a bloke as you Aussies say and not a Queen as we American’s say. I met him/her in a hotel lobby trying not to be freaked out and…Grace Hotel on a little side street. The food was so impressive, I cannot explain. every bite...mmmmm, this is sooo good! mmmmmm!
