I visited Sweden for about 10 days while my BF (he is now my husband) was doing internship in Stockholm for summer. We made a small trip to Visby by boat!

Visby is located in Gotland, the largest Baltic island. It has been settled since the begining of the 9th century (viking era). Because of the historic buildings, fortified walls and ruins, it is a UNESCO World heritage site. The medieval city is enclosed by a fortified wall (originally built in the 13the century) and its 40 towers are still intact. Inside the walls the city plan is based on the original Viking layout.
