Lunch in the Historic District Apr 02, 2012
After a morning of exploring Savannah's historic district and two house tours, we found Goose Feathers for lunch. It's a nice little cafe of the type I like, just down from Ellis Square and the City Market.

The sandwich and bread selection at Goose Feathers is long and appealing, so I did have trouble deciding what to order. (Guests order at the counter and the food is brought to your table.) I decided on a Smoked Turkey Reuben on flatbread and added side of Potato Salad. Susan had the Honey Blackened Chicken Salad. Just right for lunch. Refreshed, we were ready to push on!

I noted there are any number of vegetarian offerings, including veggie sandwiches.

Goose Feathers is open only for Breakfast and Lunch and closes at 3:00 p.m. daily.
