Goodmo Hostel Budapest Reviews

Very spacious Feb 01, 2013
I believe this hostel used to be called Good morning Hostel but has changed locations and names. Once you get out of the main doors of the train station make a left and look for the M metro sign as you'll have to catch it to get there. Once at the metro stop it's easy to find the actual building. If you chose to walk then it would take around 30 minutes if not longer to find it. There's a nice square right outside the building with quite a few restaurants. The hostel I believe is located on the 5th floor and there's only a little elevator but it worked! They provide swipe cards to get into the building and into your rooms. There's an awesome outside patio with a bar but since I was there during off season no one used it and it was really low key, also drinks there were a bit pricey and you'd be better off buying your own drinks at a grocery store. Breakfast is included and it's great! They provide bread, buns, cheese, sandwich meats, fruit, cereal and juice. If there's leftover bread from breakfast they keep it in an area where it's free for all! The common room is really big and there's comfy couches, they also have a couple of computers with free internet. Washrooms and showers were in the dorm that I stayed in which is great, there was also a little bar fridge in the room if you wanted to keep your food there. The kitchen is pretty big with pretty much all appliances, fridge, stove, micro. Overall great hostel but if you're looking for a party hostel I wouldn't recommend this one as there wasn't anything going on, but it was also off season....
