i survived and stayed at a good hotel next to the vatican. Ate with a friend of me who happened to be there for business and visited a lot of winebars with her untill the early morning... ;-)) I realy like rome... at night it is like walking in the past.... the wines… Allways beautiful Rome.... |

Next day we woke up from a good night sleep in our hotel room. The area was very quiet at it had been nice sleeping with the window open letting the fresh air sweep through the room. The hotel breakfast was in the -1 floor at the hotel and the breakfast was good… Not even crooks and hustlers could stop us |

Time to hit the shower and to have diner: pizza!
After diner we walked to the Colosseum and Forum Romanum: the first magnificently lighted, the last dark and empty. From there to the monument of Vittorio Emanuelle and back to the hotel for a good night of sleep...
