  We spent two nights at the Good Bye Lenin Hostel which isn't particularly close to the town part, but right near some mountain paths.  It was a particularly cozy place to stay & I'd definitely stay there again.  On the bus ride home, it got particularly foggy… Weekend in Zakopane

We camped up in a hostel called Good Bye Lenin, which was a great great little log cabin run by a polish and argentinian bloke. The reason for heading to Zakopane was to get some walks in. As we always seemed to do we timed our trip shockingly and ended… Snow covered Tatra mountains

   But we find out the hostel we're staying at (Good Bye Lenin- a nice friendly hostel that helped us out tons, the only - is that it is kind of out of the way) has another branch in Zakopane, which is the big winter resort in the Carpathians.  So we talked… Snowboarding, come hell or... global warming!
