Art deco café Sep 02, 2017
This café with its Turkish name is in a part of Turnpike Lane Underground Station, an art-deco structure designed by Charles Holden.

The establishment is large, light, and airy. It is decorated liberally with movie memorabilia - books galore and many film posters. It appears that the owner's wife is the film 'buff'.

The coffee we had was above average. We did not eat anything there because we were heading towards another place for dinner. The food on offer seemed reasonably priced.

There is a nice park, Ducketts Green, across the road from the café.
