Gonpachi Travel Reviews

Perfect for anyone traveling to Tokyo Mar 02, 2007
The fight scene in Kill Bill Vol: 1 with the Crazy 88's was modeled after Gonpachi.

It is a great resturant for anyone who is out and about in Tokyo. They have nomihodai (all you can drink) for 2500 yen for three hours. The table settings have a Japanese feel to them with a Western twist. Instead of having to sit on you legs the whole time the tables are set into a hole in the floor with space for your legs to fit under. Picture sitting in a chair...except the floor is ur chair.

Food is delishious kinda expensive on a college budget, but then again if you are coming to Tokyo you know that the cost of living is high. The staff a courteous and helpful. I went with a group of 19 and they made sure we were well taken care of. A must for any travellers to Tokyo.

lisa says: If organic, all natural, vegan, macrobiotic, and healthy are appealing words to you, and you happen to be in the Aoyama/Harajuku area in Tokyo, you should definitely stop by Pure Cafe for lunch or a cup of organic coffee.  The ambience is bright, clean, and modern.  They are very earth...
