We hoped it would get us to our hotel in time to check in, leave our packs, and then run to meet the gondola.
Unfortunately, with the many ferry stops it quickly became apparent that this might not be possible, and all of us weren’t going to be able to go on the gondola… Gondola in Venice for some of us! - Christy |

For the next day our hotel booked us a gondola ride that also serenaded us through the canals with voice and an accordian type instrument which was very pleasant. That night we went to the Cirk Il Teatro Del Circo at the Goldoni Theatre. It was a circus type play… Venice |
