We arrived at about 4 in the morning. The Tunis airport reminded me of Cairo's, old and a bit hectic. Every one of my thirty group members received their luggage at the baggage center, which we were told was Allah's work at hand by our Arabic tutor.…… Arrived, but only just. Habib Bourgiba, and one single meal.

We also made one that was just 1 day. To Tunis, Carthage and Sidi Bou Said. Tunis, where we visited the medina and the Bardo museum, was great, really it was. Carthage was the Thermes of Anthony, where we only got a 20 min stop...waaay to short. …… Tunis, Carthage, Sidi-Bou-Said

Our ship arrived in Tunis sometime around 1 pm. After lunch, we met our Coloradoan table-mates, Bill and Paulette, by the ship's gangway. We had earlier conspired to share a taxi/guide into the city, as the port is actually quite some ways…… Crazy African Taxi Drivers....Day 42
