I stayed here in October 2007. Jordan isn't a luxurious country, but this hotel was nice enough.

for the price and cleanliness you couldnt beat the hotel, there is a great pizza place about 2 miles away and dont try and walk! cery steep him once your in town. there is enough walking @ petra!
