Golden Sickle Hostel

This hostel was really great! Free internet access, and a refrigerator and kitchen for each floor. When I was there I didn't have much money to spend, and ate the breakfast food all day long. They would give each floor a basket, with lots of breads, cheese packets, and meats. There would be lots of leftovers, and there would still be food around to eat until the evening. The hostel had a really nice environment, and travelers there were really friendly.

I would give this 3.5 stars.  I recommend staying at the Golden Sickle if you're looking for a clean place, close to the metro, a good place to meet people to party with (including the staff), and they have all the amenities you need.  They have a bar next door that's an underground cave-like structure, and the hostel has an open courtyard in the middle where the bar has its outdoor cafe.  3 computers in the laundry room, more computers spread out in other rooms, free internet that isn't timed, kitchen, no lockout, no curfew.  Just be aware that the sign on the door won't be in English, so look for a sign that says "Zlaty Srpek" or something (unless they've finally changed that). If' you're staying in one of the rooms that has a lot of beds, I recommend going to the lobby floor to shower, where the showers and toilets are nicer.  They have pivate baths for a bunch of the rooms too.
