Affordable Vegas Mar 09, 2009
Went to check out what the new owners have done to the Gold Spike. I was shocked to see how much the interior has changed. It doesn't smell like smoke anymore and everything looks fresh and new. Even with the upgrades they still have the same great prices on food and drinks! I will be going back frequently.

Stayed at the Gold Spike bc I love the Freemont St area of Vegas. Was surprised to see that the inside of the casino has been renovated and looks pretty good. The rooms are not yet renovated but once they are im not sure how any other hotel downtown will be able to compeat. Stop in for the 1.99 breakfast. You won't be dissapointed.
