Gold Coast Hotel Travel Reviews

Kowloon, Hong Kong: The Gold Coast Hotel Dec 28, 2007
The service was great ... it's so close to the market, coffee shops, grocery stores, restaurants (many), this hotel is approximately 5kms from the HK Airport. Price for a taxi is about $200-250 HK dollars though I was unaware of this and was charged $400 HK $$ but I had that taxi reported to the police by the staff at the Gold Coast Hotel. Pop machine wasn't working but they provided me with free water and coke @ no charge. Recommend you ask for a room on the 10th floor or above (with balcony) to get a good view of the South China Sea whenever relaxing!!!
A Hotel you must stay at!!!

Next time ,when you feel the taxi driver is cheating (of course, it's better to bargain the price beo=fore the trip), just tell him you have no money with you and the hotel concierge will pay him and put it on your hotell bill. Drag him to the concierge and that's it!
