Go2 Bar Reviews
Fun backpacker hangout in Saigon Mar 09, 2008
This bar was conveniently located at the end of our backpacker street in Saigon. We couldn't miss the bright neon signs, the young international crowd and the thumping music.
I never tried their food, but they do serve breakfast lunch and dinner. And I believe there is also a hostel in the same building. Downstairs they have tables and chairs on the patio and people congregate around the bar and pool tables. We hung out on the patio for a bit, had some drinks and mingled with some backpackers before heading upstairs for some dancing. I really enjoyed this bar, it had a very fun vibe and it's a great spot to meet other backpackers. Part of the Same Same, But Different - Southeast Asia 2008 travel blog |

He was gonna grab some dinner with Johannes and said we should all meet back at Go2 Bar at 10pm or so to catch football together. I ran off to meet Anshu and Kshitij. I was feeling a lil apprehensive about the whole snake wine thing.. but they assured me it's just rice wine poured over a dead snake… Cu Chi Tunnels, Slovenian, Germans and more randoms. |

Finally, a couple of Saigon Beers at the Go2 Bar on the nearby corner to cap off an early night. The Go2 has a nice atmosphere and great music inside, and sidewalk tables outside which make for relaxed people watching . District 1 bustles much like a scaled down Khao Sanh Road in Bangkok… A Second Night in District 1 |

We didn’t fit either category and so stood
out like a sore thumb. It’s not
often/never the case scenario where I am the second youngest in a club! Needless to say we abruptly left and rejoined
William and Lydia at Go2 bar for a couple more drinks.

…happened except for a cab ride back to Bui Vien and the next thing I know, I was having breakfast at 3am with Anshu and Kshitij at Go2 Bar. I remember eating mushroom omelette and I swear to god, it was the best mushroom omelette I've ever tasted! So there, my first day in Vietnam.. it started with local buses and motorcycles, and ended with godawesome omelettes.. oh, and the thought… yes yes the motorcycles, i get it! |

After dinner a group of us headed to Go2, a bar down the street from our hotel. It was a fun place and definitely popular with young travelers. A bigger group finally decided to come out to send off the people who were leaving. Eventually everyone left except for me and the PIC (my two partners… Lazy Sunday |
