This has to be one of the most beautiful places on the bottom half of England.  It’s called Barrow Wake Viewpoint, and it’s just North of Cirencester and South of Gloucester.  It’s stunning.  Apparently on a clear day you can see Gloucester and all sorts of other places, but in the hazy light today, you could make out the M5 and some beautiful landscape on the north edge of the Cotswolds, and I will have to go back and check if Gloucester is really there or not.  I g...

We left Shropshire for 12 days and headed toward Portsmouth to catch up with family and friends. On the way we stopped at Gloucester to have a look at its magnificent Cathedral.  Gloucester Cathedral is also one of the sets for Harry Potter movies namely the Hogwarts Hallways. We spent a few hours exploring the Roman city of Bath and finally to Stonehenge. We packed alot in that day!!

Helped my best friend of twenty odd years move to England to teach for the year then took a road trip to Cornwall and Wales for a few days.
