Gjovik is the city were I grew up. Located by the banks of Lake Mjosa (the biggest lake in Norway) and is called the White city by Mjosa. It's also home to the steamboat Skibladner. The only one left in Norway and it's way old. Gjovik is a small town, but has a wide range of stores, restaurants and bars. You also find the largest mall between Oslo and Trondheim here.

Oslo, Norway -› Roa, Norway -› ...
I decided to take a friend up on an offer to come visit Norway. I am 1/4 Norwegian but don't know much about that side of my family heritage partly due to my grandpa passing away when my mom was young. So 4 days after the idea was planted i had tickets and here i am! with the average temp. -5 to 0 degrees so far, i am enjoying myself(just cold at times)meeting people and seeing what its like when its not 80 degrees and sunny :) also lucky for me my friend/tour guide speaks fluent norwegian :)
