After resisting the lure of Europe for so long, I finally caved in and bought a RTW ticket for a two month jaunt in September and October 2005.

In the beginning of my travels in Europe, I only wanted see Paris..but I was wrong.

I took some classes in Paris and fell in love..with traveling!

Made a brief day trip to Giverny, a town north of Paris famous for Monet's residence and water lily garden.

Started the trip with a week in Paris first staying near Notre Dame and then in St Lazare. Caught the train to Aix-en-Provence where I stayed in a farmhouse outside the village of Eyguere in Provence. Checked out a number of small towns as well as Aix and Arles
