 A nice place to stay in Kazan Jul 19, 2008
My hotel called Giuseppe located just 100m from Kazan Kremlin. It is supposed to be a 4-star one. Well, 4 stars would be too high a rank but 3 stars go pretty well with it.
It is perfectly located, clean, the staff is friendly but in general customer service is average. Single room is 2740 RUB (about $100) per person. When paying in cash you get a 5% discount which is also nice. Breakfast included, you can even have it on the day of your arrival. The room is large enough, clean, has all the most necessary things. Bathroom is also fine. Disadvantages – no elevator and no WiFi in the room. If you are a tourist staying in Kazan for a couple of days and you don’t die without checking your email then Giuseppe would be a good choice for you. If you are on a business trip be ready to sit with your laptop in the lobby.  Part of the Volga Cities travel blog
