Sow's ear for the price of a silk purse.... Mar 01, 2009
It seemed like a tourist trap, but was full of Italians (at least that's what I thought)so we gave it a try and had a sandwich, a piece of pizza and two soft drinks. The sandwich with roasted pork – a Roman specialty – was pretty good and the pizza was as well.
Everything was handed over at the bar with the gruff yet friendly service that seems to be the norm around here. Together with the drinks it all came to 17 Euros, so the prices are outlandish and the place is grimy.
They also serve ice creams which looked good. But, again, the prices are completely out of line. Once again, budget travelers beware!
