“Relaxing,snorkeling and beautiful sunsets ” Apr 22, 2013
If we want to enjoy the ocean view complete with beautiful beaches, crystal clear water, calm waves, and enjoy the underwater scenery, then the answer is Gili islands.

The islands have white sand beaches and with the seawater so crystal clear it is perfect for snorkeling, diving, or take a walk on the beach. To cross to the island locals still use wooden boat dock contains 30-40 people from Bangsal Harbour

Many foreign tourists enjoying the sunbathing a long the beach. In order to enjoy the whole island, available transportation and bicycle rental or cidomo ( Horse and cart ).

The First Island of the Gilis is called Gili Air.

We start for Gili Air from our hotel in Senggigi, Lombok. taking the shuttle bus directly to Bangsal harbour

we paid IDR 75,000 / person or US$ 7,5 this also includes the ticket to Gili Air. I know that for the ticket from Bangsal to Gili Air bought at the harbour would cost us IDR 8.000, so its a good price bus and boat together. The bus condutor will try to sell you other tickets so beware. The Shuttle bus takes us to their office close to the harbour which took around 45 minutes. From the office to the harbour is not far down the road... but if you have luggage take a Cidomo, we paid IDR 10.000 / 2 person until Bangsal harbour.

We waited until the boat is full is around 30 – 40 peoples or its due time of departure...it just takes 25 minutes to cross to Gili Air. Most accomadation is close to the harbour at Gili Air it just took us 15 mins walk ours at Omah Gili...after we left our luggage...we directly go to the beach to see what it is like for swimming and snorkeling. Along with new snorkel sets we brought an underwater camera so we can take many fish with different colours also the coral reef.

Three days in Gili air all we are doing is swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, and eating and drinking in nice restaurants, also it is a must to never forget to see a lovely sunset with a view of Agung Mount in Bali. Finally We were lucky to get a beautiful sunset in Gili Air on our last day…and this is the best sunset and pictures I have ! Thanks God :-)
