Ghost Town Museum Colorado Springs Reviews
The feel of the Old West Jul 03, 2009
The Ghost Town Museum houses an actual ghost town, with buildings that relocated from other parts of Colorado. They were moved inside an old railroad building, a great way to protect them from the elements.
Once inside, you are walking along the street of the Old West. Basically, it has what a ghost town typically has: jail, sheriff’s office, saloon, hotel, among other shops, plus stage coaches on display. There is a shooting gallery and other games, along with a piano that plays some tunes, when putting a quarter into the machine. The music selections by the piano, does fit the environment very well.
Very touristy, but a lot of fun, and the place does give that feel of being in a western town. This place should not be missed.
