Dec 10, 2006The Ghost tour is a close to two hour walking tour of the french quarter, that departs at 6 and 8pm every night. The guide narrates the story of New Orleans, including mysterious murders, paranormal activity, haunted sites, and ghostly phenomena of which the audience hears their tragic demises. Visit the mansion where slaves were buried alive beneath the floorboards, the church infront of which two nuns were drained of all their blood, the house with romeo spikes where a young lover met his end, see the alley of the annual ghostly procession, where a scene from Anne Rice's "Interview with a Vampire" was filmed... We drank Hand Grenades and Abita beer as we went on the French Quarter Ghost and Legends tour. I had been on this tour a couple of times before, and it is at night, but our tour guide was NOT the best. There are some really great spooky stories about New Orleans and he told us a couple of them… If alcohol offends you-don't come in! |
