The woman who travelled with us in our compartment did not speak english, but she offered the kids some chewing gum, and "broke the ice". The kids took our "Hungarian for travellers" guide, and in no time they were having some kind of a chat. At the border we had to show our ID and passes, first time we had to on this trip, but we were leaving the Schengen area now. So, we had to show them to the Hungarian guards first, and a couple of minutes and kilometres later again to the Romanian guard...
