The Ghazi Khusraw-Bey Mosque in Sarajevo Jan 05, 2014
In Sarajevo's old town, the Baščaršija, there are several mosques, and this one is one of the most famous. When there's no service it's open to the public, and for a small entrance fee you can go inside. Of course, women have to hide their hair under a scarf, so be sure to bring one along, or you can borrow one at the ticket office. Inside it's warm, there's floor heating, and the space is covered in carpets. The walls are beautifully painted with ornaments, and the whole place has a cosy and peaceful feel to it.

Outside in the yard there are several other buildings, two sepulchures, a Medresa and a library. In the middle of the yard there's a fountain.

If you ask anyone of the people that work/pray there, they will be very glad to tell you everything you want to know about the islamic religion.
