Gharb Folklore Musuem Gozo Reviews
Unique Little Museum Jun 03, 2010
This is such an interesting museum situated on the island of Gozo.
The museum itself is that of an 18th Century house where 28 of its rooms have been transported back into times gone by. Each room contains a different theme with lots of little articles and nick nacks that were used way back in the day.
Exhibits featured include a miller's room, complete with millers wheel and tools of the trade, a printer's room, containing a huge printing press, a fisherman's room that contains a boat, nets etc and a carpenter's room containing all the old style tools that a carpenter would have used, the list and rooms goes on.
There is even the original well that belonged to the house still on display in the garden area, where you can take a well deserved break during your visit.
Definitely worth the 3 euros entrance fee.
Part of the list Places not to be missed - Malta
