Ghandi Museum Mumbai Reviews
A visit to India's greatest hero Oct 04, 2008
The Ghandi Museum is a very atmospheric house where the great Mahatma actually stayed when he was in a Mumbai. It shows some of his belongings (slippers, a spinning wheel, a small table he used) and it has several displays showing important moments in his life, such as his return from South Africa to live in India, his speeches about non-cooperation, non-violence and peaceful resistance against the British Raj and the Salt March.
Ghandi is India’s most legendary hero, ignoring him by not spending time or thought on his legacy is missing an important part of the understanding of India. But that’s just my opinion.
