Geumhwa Yeogwan (금화여관)

20'000 Won ($20) for a room is great in Korea.

This is a 5 minute walk from the subway station, and about 10 minutes walk to the International Ferry Terminal. Other inns in the area are similarly priced no doubt.

I stayed here the night to recover before making the trip to Fukuoka. I just wanted a room and not much else. Lucky really, because I didn't get much else, ha.

I asked for ondol because that's what I'm used to - so no bed, just a matt. That's fine with me.

And honestly the room was great and I would stay again on my own if in a pinch. But my room didn't have a working shower so I washed in the sink.

All up, good value for the budget traveller provided your shower works.
