Getting to/from Railay Ao Nang Reviews
Travel light where possible Jul 14, 2011
Your guide book will tell you about the different places where you can catch the boat to Railay and where in Railay you will land.
But here are some practical tips though ...
When getting to/from Railay, try to leave your luggage on the mainland and go with only what you need for your few day's stay.
Depending on the tide, weather, season etc, it can sometimes be difficult getting in and out of the boat (both on the Aonang end and the Railay end).
I was pleased I left my stuff behind as I had to climb about 4 feet in one go to get into the boat. Your stuff should remain dry though but with such feats, accidents can happen!
