Getting Around Gothenburg Feb 05, 2012
Göteborg - the Swedish name of Gothenburg - Sweden’s second largest city.
Once you get there go to Nordstan shopping Centre. Sweden's largest shopping centre. Welcome to a comprehensive range of stores with prominent international labels and exciting local specialities.
All the major central tram and bus routes stop outside Nordstan Shopping Centre. Long distance bus and train services stop at Nils Ericsons Terminalen/Resecentrum, which is in direct connection with Nordstan Shopping Centre.
In the middle you will find Göteborg Tourist Information Centre. Here you can find information on museums, tours, sight seeing and find out what’s on. You can book accommodation and the Göteborg Hotel Package, buy the Göteborg City Pass (City Card) souvenirs and t-shirts.
The Gothenburg City Card is everything you need for a great visit. Available for 1-5 days, and is valid from the first time you use it and fill in your name, date and time. It gives you free admission to attractions, museums, sightseeing tours by bus, train and free travel on public transport + you can park for free...
With all the free admission and travels you also get free map and about 40 shopping vouchers to use in Nordstan shopping Centre.
25% discount on The Wheel of Gothenburg
50% discount on boat trip to Vinga Light House (13.7-20.8)
50% discount on a day trip to Denmark with Stena Line
I hope that you will benefit from my short tips and that you will enjoy your stay in Gothenburg.
