Gerry's Grill - Makati
GERRY'S GRILL: FILIPINO DISHES
Our very favourite restaurant in Mikati turned out to be GERRY'S GRILL, We went there a few times during our stay. Located in the Greenbelt 3 area of Ayala Center, Gerry's Grill offers Filipino Dishes at great prices. Locals also seem to love this place. The waiters are always friendly and cheerful and there are many TV screens playing the latest music videos.
Our favourite dishes include: Gerry's Grill Fried Chicken (228 pesos) - about five small pieces of fried chicken which also comes with french fries and a small bowl of sweet ketchup; Sizzling Beef Spare Ribs (275 pesos); Lechon Kawali (225 pesos) - a nice piece of tender pork with the crusty rind on one side of it; Pork BBQ Sticks (125 pesos for two sticks).
For dessert we had Halo_Halo (95 pesos) which is like an ice cream sundae.
Address: Level 3, Greenbelt 3, Ayala Center Makati City
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Price: less than US$10

Gerry's Grill - Filipino restaurant in the heart of the Makati business district Nov 16, 2012
Gerry's Grill has grown into a major restaurant chain since it first opened in the late 90s. This particular Gerry's Grill is one of their smaller restaurants located in a refurbished building previously owned by IBM in the major thoroughfare of Paseo de Roxas in Makati. It is located on the third floor so it is not as accessible as the other restaurants in the area, although this area has been home to mostly banks who tend to occupy the ground floor of most buildings.
The place is relatively dark due to the color of the walls, although there is a section where there is outdoor dining. The tables could do with much better quality although they are big enough to accommodate the numerous serving plates most groups order when they come to eat (as the food is very reasonably priced).
The usual Filipino fare is expected, mostly grilled (as the name implies), and is famous for sisig (don't ask me anymore what it's made of but nevertheless it tastes good). They also have a lot of grilled seafood (shrimp, squid, tuna, etc.) as well as barbecue done Filipino style.
Most people who eat at this restaurant are office workers, and on Saturday mornings you can see call center employees taking "happy hour" drinking beer, after their work shift is done.
Because of the location this Gerry's Grill branch is not as patronized by the general public, and there are also a lot more branches of Gerry's Grill in the Makati area, including the original restaurant along Jupiter Street.
Back in the late 90s this was a great place to go for food, but because of its longevity in the food business, the novelty of grilled food has diminished a lot since then.

Grilling with friends. Jan 14, 2011
Gerry's Grill envisions to be the preferred Filipino restaurant in the global market, providing the best casual dining experience while having a good conversation with friends.
With the beautiful scenic lunch and drinks we had, indeed, two thumbs up for Gerry's!
This very Filipino resto offers fresh food that is cooked, grilled, or prepared to satisfy palates, weather be alcoholic or not. Most customers always look for its Chicken Sisig. The best food, so far! They serve variety of food, with lots of choices. You can take a bottle of beer while waiting for the food to be served. Preparing the food takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
Unwinding with friends here is very relaxing. That day, we were overlooking the busy streets of Ayala Avenue and Paseo de Roxas.
As always, first time customers have a pretty high hopes with Gerry's. The menu, the place itself are appealing but hey, its very affordable!
Wow. Great food. Very good ambiance. I would say, it is one of the cleanest restos I had ever visited.
Friendship is again forged! Thank you, Gerry's.

I have been looking forward to work in the financial center of my country, way back in 2005. I tried my luck last quarter of 2005, and luckily landed a job. However, due to some circumstances, I had …Gerry's Grill and more. Meantime, I just want to share how Makati City started. Thanks to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Makati_City…
