On day 3 I was excited to take the Alpspitze cable car. So that was the first thing we did. It wasn’t as high as the Zugspitze but it was still fun and it had some great views at the top. After that we took a very beautiful but very hard drive to the Krimmler Waterfalls in Austria. The drive took over 2 hours but I think it was worth it when we finally got there. It is Europe’s highest Waterfalls. We got some great views from the road down.&…

I had to focus on the ground. Because here there are these huge snails that are slowly crawling across the paths. Trying to make it to the other side. Some have shells and others don't. So to prevent from stepping on them I walk with my eyes towards the ground. Although the sun is not out, it is still a nice day. A cool breeze slices through the millions of trees. June is almost coming to an end and everything is the purest green. It has been raining off and on all day so there are all of the…

When autumn is falling I suddenly want to go to Germany to spend some time in the forests and authentic villages. Every year we're going again. :)

I lived here for 3 months (Jan 07 until April 07) on the Rhein with views of Alstadt, the Promenade, Media Harbour and Tower. Dusseldorf is my home ground in West Germany. I make day trips or weekend trips to Holland and Belgium when I am there.

I was sad the morning of 3 April. I was glad that we were leaving but mainly i din't want to go back and become a soldier again and go back to the war in Iraq. : (
Me and Blake were silent most of out trip back to Frankfurt. As we rode the train to Wiesbaden and next Frankfurt. We took photos of the castles along the Rhein.
Our plane was scheduled to depart at 1400 so i was nervous most of the time abou missing our departure.
My reflections on the trip were this: we went to a lot of place…

We spent the day sight seeing around town. While walking to Marienplatz again to see it during the day, we went into St Michaels church, Michaelskirche. This is a Renaissance Church built in protests from the citizens in the late 1500's, mostly due to the fact that they tore several homes down to build it. It is very beautiful inside and very bright. After the church, we went to the end of the plaza and into the toy museum, Spielzeugmuseu…

Where to start?
I think it's a good time that i put some pictures where i've been in the year of 2005, 2006 and 2007.
Before that it was too hard for me, coz i had tough months to process my broken relationship. Ok, i admit, i still think of her. But my feelings for her are getting less and less... The strange thing is, when i listen to songs i remember her, it's getting a bit vague. I'm trying to concentrate harder to remember the moments we shared, while i shouldn't.
I like to share i…

On Staruday, the 21.06.2008 Frankfurt held the Parade of the Cultures for the 6th time. As every year clubs of Frankfurt get together to organize a parade through Frankfurt as a sign that the Neo-Nazis are not wanted here. They consider the parade a sign to show to whom Frankfurt really belongs - a city that understand itself as a city of all nations. Unfortunately, I still have my old not-so-good camera, but lots of motivation. I missed the very beginning of the parade, because my mom …

Those who might've read my other blog will know by now that I have that special passeporte for foreigners though I was born in Germany. I call myself alien because that's exactly how I feel. A few people asked me why? Why is that I have no german citizenship? Good question! I wondered too. :D I did since I flew to Vietnam the first time but rather and more when I turned 16.- because with 16, in Germany, you are allowed to do a lot of things. Like going out (e.g. discos, bars) until 12 p…

My family took me up to a favorite restaurant of theirs near Stuttgart. Something like the Burg Restaurant. It was up on a hill overlooking Stuttgart and the wine growing region. The restaurant didn't have a non-smoking section and my aunt and uncle complain about that all the time. Most Germans are used to it, but these two have a point. The restaurant has three rooms and only a few people were smoking in each room, so why not just have one non-smoking room?&nbs…
