Oh my God Barbeque Mar 21, 2008

Walking up to this place you would not think that there was a place to eat. the Commissary is a true hole in the wall and a place that if you blink, you wil miss it, but if you are in Memphis, TN, Seek it out before leaving.

We walked in the door and the place smelled like bar be que. Three big guys needed to make sure we did not knock over a table walking to the back table where we sat. I ordered the pulled pork, sausage and ribs, and DAMN.

The pulled poke was tender and smoky. The rib meat fell off the bone. The Sausage was cooked to perfection. There were two types of sauce to put on the meat, Hot and regular. I went with the hot.

The coleslaw was creamy and the beans were tangy. Next time I am back, I will make sure this is one of my stops.
