I was up and on deck in the early morning darkenss to watch us glide into George Town, Grand Cayman. The ship anchored offshore and lights could be seen along the shoreline. Tenders convey passeners from the cruise ships to the dock. After breakfast, we assembled in the gangway to board our tender.

I'm frustrated that there's no option for just generally cruising. If there is, I missed it and someone please let me know because the majority of my travels involve cruising. SO, the write up will be under one of our ports, Grand Cayman.

A quick trip into George Town to check out the shopping and city. We took the public bus from the East end of the island into the town which was actually comfortable. I was worried it might be a little awkward being tourists obviously but it was perfectly fine! One thing we learned - follow the advice of the locals and resort staff - do not go into George Town on big cruise ship days! We did an off day and there were still 2 or 3 ships in and the place was packed. ...
