Genghis Grill Addison Reviews
Great Mongolian Grill May 29, 2009
This Mongolian BBQ is a great place to take a person with a big apatite or a teenager. I took both. Genghis Grill-The Mongolian Stir Fry, is a build your own bowl, fast casual, Asian stir-fry concept. The atmosphere is colorful, lively, and a lot of fun! It’s actually not a cuisine, but an INTERACTIVE style of exhibition cooking modeled after a centuries-old legend. According to this legend, 12th century Mongol warriors, led by the mighty warrior GENGHIS KHAN, heated their shields over open fires to grill food in the fields of battle!
I really like the fact that you can purchase unlimited trips or a one time trip. Each trip consists of you filling a bowl full of various veggies, meats and sauces to create your own unique stir fry dish. Basically you selected the amount of and kind of meat you would like to eat including shrimp, scallops, beef, pork, chicken and steak. You then just add all your veggies, top it off with a variety of sauces. You just hand the food over to the cooks and you watch them cook it right before your eyes. You can choose your starch and then you are on your way.
The servers are very friendly; they are really attentive and bring your food out pretty quickly. The place is pretty hoppin’ and it is pretty interesting to see all the combinations others around you come up with.
The floors are always pretty clean, the restroom maintained and things are pretty much in order. The prices are very reasonable and they do have a bar on site. They have various locations around the Metro Plex as well as 12 other states and they all seem to be very consistent. Stop in for a fun have it your way meal.
