This is where I stayed on my first stop of a Euro backpack in 2005. Lots of other travelers here. Fun people =)

I have been staying here for a few days, the staff is really nice and the hostel is pretty good. What sucks now is that it is in renovation so there is construction at 8am and the 5th floor is the only revamped floor. I would say in 4-6 months with will be a great place.
The bar has a great happy hour £1.25 for a pint which is great. In general i am really stoked about this place and i have met a ton of nice travelers, especially the aussies.
I would stay here again.

I wasn't feeling… Time to search for Job

The Generator is the hostel that my guidebook recommended, but I didn't initially follow its advice - I thought… Colleen Arrives

The first order of business was to find our hostel and get settled in. It was called "The Generator" and was advertised as a party hostel. Needless to say, it was quite interesting. The place is decorated in mostly blue and red, and has a party, jail-like appearance. Although it reeked of smoke… London & Wimbledon
