Ok people who read this.. you probably know more than me about this topic.. but I will try and inform as best as I can!

Food, there is lots of it and it tastes good. Not too expensive but can be a total rip off too.

Try, the BBQ.. the Acai, the chili and garlic cashews, the tapioca on the side of the road, fresh fruit from the markets. Meat on a stick, those little deep fried ball/rear drop shaped things with chicken and stuff inside, beans and rice!!! the roasted cheese on the beach. the stroganoff.

Drink, a ripe fresh chilled coconut juice.. out of the coconut, some are bad some are amazing. Beer, skol schin bavaria .. all are nice when they are cold, hard to find a good beer on tap called choppe. watch out for the tap water! nearly all places have open tanks up or in the roofs.. dead birds rats and other stuff ends up falling in..

Drink Caipirinha .. and make them with other fruits not just the lime.. .watch out for the lime juice it will bleach your skin in the sun! Also!

My invention.. the Cai-piranha ... crushed ice and crushed lime (green lemons in Brazil) a tiny bit of sugar syrup, about the same amount of salt water (ocean water is fine) Tabasco sauce or small crushed fresh chili. Cacha├ža to suit your taste.. now if you can find any Piranha fish juice,, a drop of Worcestershire sauce or some other fermented fish sauce will do!! Lovely sip slow fast whatever. Will definitely bite!!!

There you go, oh the juices are amazing! except for the cashew fruit juice.. i just cant get used to it!
