I found the ambiance to be exactly what I needed on a breezy Saturday afternoon in October. The ambiance of the facility is straight out of an Al Capone movie complete with wood wall paneling, buttoned armchairs and tables reminiscent of country clubs rather then modern restaurants. Even the waiters and barkeeps spoke with raspy accents that pictured an era since long gone.

My friend and I sat and ate at the bar. Olive Oil and bread were served along with a 2005 Shiraz. We both had rib-eye with mushrooms and green beans. I ordered a medium and I got a bit rare. The portion was sizeable and meat was tasty, I just would have liked a bit more cooked.

I would come back here again just because I did not feel rushed and the ambiance was what I desired. Something traditional and complacent. The price is reasonable but not cheap however the quality of the food is excellent.
