Gelateria Naia Travel Reviews

Aug 25, 2007
Gelateria Naia is the best gelato I've tasted so far in California. They have a great selection of delicious and handmade gelato and sorbetto. Everything there is nicely presented with samples of whatever the gelato is made with place artfully on top of the gelato (or sorbetto). They have typical flavors and many unique flavors. Customers can suggest flavors and if enough people ask for it, they will usually make it. They also come up with flavors that correspond with holidays. The one I remember most is Guinness flavored gelato around St. Patricks Day. They'll let you try as many flavors as you want before you purchase!

I've only been to the downtown Berkeley location but there are several locations in the Bay Area- another one in Berkeley close to the UC, two locations in San Francisco, one in Oakland and one in Walnut Creek.

It's fun t...
matthewcpollard says: Amazing coffee, the best affogatos this side of Europe, yummy paninis and a constant cast of characters make even the dullest study sessions palatable.
