As you might be aware, Florida is full of alligators and this attraction let you get a close encounter to the wildlife. Gatorland also serves as a santuary and research facility for alligators. The last time AJ visited Orlando he remembers going to Gatorland. Interested in if it had changed at all we headed in its direction, eventually. It was a lot cheaper than some of the other parks around. It's also a lot smaller and seemed ever so slightly neglected. We did one lap of the park… Another day away from Disneyworld. |

Other attractions like gatorland, House of Blues, Crystal River and Homosassa State Park are also good choices for families. If you are going to spend more time, you may like to have a walk on Clearwater Beach . Family with teenagers can enjoy a Sea Screamer Tour.
