Nice tour of St. Louis May 14, 2009
An one-hour riverboat cruise is a nice way to get an overall tour of St. Louis, if your time is really short. You will board either the Tom Sawyer or Becky Thatcher, named after characters from Mark Twain’s books. The riverboats depart below the Gateway Arch, and go up and down the Mississippi River.

During the cruise, the captain shares about the history of St. Louis and the Mississippi, as it relates to the landmarks that you see along the way. The tour is informative and interesting, and definitely worth it.

Make sure you check the schedule beforehand, as the number of cruises during the day, is dependent on the season.
