Gasthof Blaue Traube Reviews
Blaue Traube (blue grave) a good place to eat Jun 22, 2007
The Gasthof Blaue Traube is a family run restaurant with rooms to let. The Hotel itself is over 500 years old and some of the walls are up to 2 meters thick - this house was built bevor many other countries and continents were discovered (Australia).
The rooms are nice, one of its rooms has more than 100 year old furnitures. The restaurant offer very good Austrian cuisine (also great fish dishes), prices are about average. The menu is great you can choose out of more than 40 main dishes. You will find most of the common Austrian dishes like, Apfelstrudel, Wienerschnitzel, Geschnetzeltes, Gulasch and many more . Try Salzburger Nocker, a very special Austrian dessert. (Made out of eggs and sugar) - its hard to find. Located directly in the center of Bad Ausse it’s a good base to discover the Salzkammergut (Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, Altaussee…) Part of the My home area - the Styrian Salzkammergut (Steirisches Salzkammergut) travel blog |
