 Fabulous service and breakfast but, dilluted B&B charm. Dec 13, 2008
The Garish house is located a bit out of Cork Center. It's quite a walk but easy to get to the town. It's in a row of B&B's which diminishes it's quaintness as they are all crammed together. Ther buildins are not with much charm and the rooms are plain but spacious. The furnishing simple and average. The bath nicely appointed but, again, average.
The breakfast is why many people stay here. It's offering is massive and all made to order. The owner is a charming lady who will try to feed you until you pop. Everything was so very delicious. You are fueled for your day. Breakfast is a happy time at The Garnish House. This is a great location as a base for travel throughout Cork and Kerry, as I did but, not really that convenient to sights in Cork, itself.
