Review of 2 different cabins. Jan 10, 2016
While driving to Melbourne via the coastal route, we decided to break the trip up into 3 sections with Nowra to Eden the first section and the last section.

On the way to Melbourne, we stayed at the Garden of Eden for 1 night and on the way home, 2 nights.

I will review both cabins in the one post.

20th December 2015- Frangipani cabin (12A.)

As we were only staying for 1 night, I booked the cheaper, standard cabin. We arrived and checked in with no problems.

The cabin was on the far right hand side of the caravan park and was easy to access, however parking is a little tight.

On the outside of the cabin is an area with a table and chair set.

Once inside the cabin we found the living and kitchen area to be spacious. Leading off the living area was a hall with a set of bunks and the bathroom then leading into the double bed room.

The bathroom is small and tight with the shower right next to the toilet, meaning that showering will wet the toilet if the curtain is not pulled.

I also noted that there is barely any room to store clothing while showering. There are 3 small shelves however they are quite shallow so would be suited for toiletries only.

There is also storage issues in the bedrooms, we found it very hard to store and access the suitcase when needed.

We didn't have a lot of time to explore the park this visit however we did enjoy time in the pool area.

There was a blow up slide there for the children as well as 2 pools (one shallow and one deeper.)

Located around the pool were a few sun beds and chairs. We all enjoyed the pool area.

10-12 January 2016- Pandanus cabin (cabin 8.)

As we were staying for 2 nights this visit I had booked a larger cabin.

It was located across the road from the pool area and mini golf course however we didn't find the noise an issue.

This cabin was very spacious. There was plenty of storage room in the bedrooms and the bathroom was large and roomy. The bathroom and toilet are in separate rooms.

We enjoyed this cabin much more.

On check in, the front desk staff provided us with a holiday itinerary (as it was school holidays) and informed us that there would be a movie showing on the tennis court that night.

At dusk we walked the short distance to the tennis court with a blanket and pillows to watch Pixels.

Before the movie started, a woman passed us a few extra cushions, I was surprised by this and thanked her. I believe it was the park owner/manager.

We had more time to enjoy the park this visit with another trip to the pool, playground and a walk along the boardwalk (located at the very back of the park.)

I will not hesitate to recommend the Garden of Eden to other travelers but would recommend paying the extra and getting a larger cabin, it was worth it.
