Gambrinus Restaurante
Gambrinus Restaurante Reviews
Gambrinus Restaurante in Lisboa Jul 01, 2003
Gambrinus Restaurante in Lisboa is supposed to be the best seafood restaurant in the city. My colleague and I enjoyed steamed "little clams" in butter, white wine and garlic for our appetizer and it was delicious. For our entrees, we both tried the grilled sea bream (like sea bass). Both of the seafood dishes were wonderful with the white Portuguese wine recommended by the wine steward. For dessert, we had a vanilla soufle. It was lighter than a meringue -- was a bit like creme catalan like restaurants serve in Barcelona. It was perfect with a 1952 port from Porto, Portugal.
The service was impeccable. Both the experience and the food were superb here. Part of the Lisbon, Vienna and Ironman Austria travel blog |
