Big tourist restaurant with good lobster and wine Mar 28, 2014
N44°23.452' W68°12.308' Galyn's has multiple dining areas, upstairs and downstairs, all cosy and unpretentious. The reception works very efficient to accommodate huge crowds of tourists. We had a table at the front window of the second floor overlooking the harbour in August 2013. Great view.

Lobster is the main theme at the Maine coast, so we entered a totally new experience by ordering lobster, one hard shell and the other a soft shell. For eating lobster, experience in the technique of demolishing the lobster counts. Our newbie status was so much visible, that the waitress stepped in to give a demonstration. Once seen wasn't enough to for us to perform without any flaws the art of eating lobster.

The lobster itself was very nice and very fresh (what do you expect without the need for air transportation). Delicious was the food in combination with 3 Brooms Marlborough Chardonnay from New Zealand. Recommended.
